All adult role models/mentors must successfully complete Florida Department of Law Enforcement background checks in order to be trained and certified as youth advocates and role models. Our adults’ mission is to develop relationships that positively impact our greatest resource: our youth. WIM focuses on building essential skills needed to become productive, confident and contributing residents of Pinellas County.
It was my pleasure to watch the young women learn the Importance of Education. Captain Ronalee S. Klase and two Cadets with the Civil Air Patrol came in and held a Q&A session on dedication, responsibility, and authority.
